West Seattle Mercantile

Illustration | Branding | Production Design

I had the unique opportunity to lead the branding of a major transition; The merger of four beloved West Seattle shops into one unified business—West Seattle Mercantile. As the in-house designer, I developed the full visual identity, from concept to execution.

This included a 10-foot storefront sign, four large-scale window graphics, and two interior wall graphics.

Bread Font

I was honored to be the first student in Portland State University's Graphic Design program to design a non-Latin font. My passion for typography led me to explore the structural differences between Hebrew and Latin typefaces. Inspired by the cultural significance of bread in Jewish traditions, I created Bread, a modern, legible Hebrew display typeface that resonates with younger generations while honoring its roots.

PopClings TS12 Design Contest

I designed the winning LED phone case for the PopClings TS12 Case Design Contest, beating 12 other designers. My case lights up to the beat of your favorite pop songs and features bold, playful graphics of icons and stars. Seeing my design come to life and connect with the community was super fun — like bringing a mini pop concert into everyone’s pocket.

Mental Health Coalition + 988

Packaging | Branding | Strategy | Ad Campaign

The Mental Health Coalition, in partnership with 988 Lifeline and Kenneth Cole, hosted a weekend ad competition to promote the crisis line to college students. PSU Intramural Champion Shirt Design

For two years, I worked for PSU Intramurals. As a designer and marketer, I created assets to engage the campus community. A highlight was the Champion T-shirt: a sporty, single-color design featuring a trophy integrated into the ‘O’ of "champion." Introducing pink and purple shirt options sparked excitement on Instagram, with players eager to compete for the limited-edition purple version.

To boost student attendance at the PSU Vikings Haunted Homecoming game, the Athletic Department sought a design that combined Halloween fun with a strong football theme. Among multiple concepts, my skeleton football player design was chosen. The Athletic Department loved the concept so much they expanded the budget for posters, stickers, and wall art prints, helping surpass their attendance goal with over 250 attendees.

I analyzed Taylor Swift’s albums through the distinctive fonts she uses for each era, exploring how they reflect the vibe and storytelling of her music. My project included insights on potential updates for Taylor’s Versions, custom-designed cover backgrounds, and era-specific photos to visually guide readers through her journey. I later added sections on the Eras Tour and The Tortured Poets Department while updating other albums.
